WANT TO LEARN MORE AND DEVELOP  SKILLS?  JOIN THE BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE CLINICS!

-The clinics will be open to both males and females and will be geared towards helping newer players advance their skills and their understanding of strategy/rules. Each week may be devoted to a different topic (e.g., throwing and handling, cutting, person-on-person defense, deep cuts and air game). Really, anyone interested in improving their game can sign up.
-There will be 4 weeks of clinics (one per week): August 17, August 24, August 31, and Sept 7. The clinics will run from 6-7:30pm-ish on Tuesday nights at Bora Laskin. If they want, players can stick around for pick-up afterwards.

-You sign up to attend the clinics as a package. That is, by signing up you're indicating that you're planning on attending all 4 sessions. If you've got work or will be out of town for 1 session or so, that's ok. We just want to ensure that we'll have enough players at each clinic.
 
-There will be a small sign-up fee (e.g., $10).

The Great Canadian Ultimate Game!

On July 17, Canadian ultimate frisbee players in 24 locations across
the country are participating in the Great Canadian Ultimate Game. This frisbee game for
charity will pit white against red for the majority stake in funds raised. The white team,
representing the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, and the red team, representing Right to
Play Canada, will huck, flick and layout to help their team become the champion.

When:  July 17, 2010  5:30 -9:00 (actual game starts at 7pm)
Where: Lakehead University Fieldhouse fields
